What formatting is preferred for fics?

e.g., ao3-post ready (<em> html tags for italics, empty lines between paragraphs) versus original works like books (indentations, plain italics, empty lines only between scene breaks)

Book formatting is better! Although if you want to use some special character to mark italics, that would actually be quite helpful!

What will I do if I'm a pinch hitter?

If you submitted multiple approved pitches you can use one of the pitches you have not used. Otherwise, you can pitch a new idea to the mod team.
